  After a decade of searching, I've found my favourite Brisbane salon! I've always been super picky about hair stylists and salons. As an artist, my look is my brand and it's really important to me. In my experience, it's hard to find a stylist who'll genuinely listen to what I want and take the time to chat about all the options (rather than being pushy about what THEY want, distractedly dismissive or just trying to rush you through and get onto the next). It's also not that easy to find someone that really knows what they're doing with short styles. So glad I found Alannah at Gaia Hair! I was after a pretty big change of style when I first walked into Gaia Hair and Alannah was fabulous. She totally got what I was after. Her confidence and obvious enjoyment of the process really put me at ease and she absolutely nailed it - exceeded my expectations! I've been back 3 more times since then and the experience is wonderful every time. All the staff are friendly and instantly make you feel welcome and at home. The salon itself has a lovely vibe - light and relaxing with the best basin chairs ever (no stiff neck after a wash!). Love my cut and my hair is feels healthier and more manageable than it's been in about 6 years (since I first went platinum).They use natural and organic products but don't charge a premium for them. They also stock Evo, my absolute favourite natural styling product range, which is an added bonus! Rates for a style cut are super affordable for the quality of service and the talent is every bit as good as the ridiculously expensive salon I used to go to in the city. At Gaia, I can afford to get more regular cuts without compromising on quality or experience. I've attached a couple of recent photos I took of my cut - it's about 6 weeks old in these pics so it doesn't have that crispy fresh-cut look but it still looks awesome! Styled with my three fave Evo products (Box'o'Bollox, Haze & Helmut). I just can't recommend Gaia Hair more highly. I'm so happy with this place and just can't imagine going anywhere else now!
